As the current principal, I believe that I have a great responsibility in building up daughters ready for the world tomorrow. In that mission, I try to add subtle implementations that wou Id make a favorable impact on Sri Lankan education system and as one of the initiatives, it is a great pleasure to launch the official website of our school.

Keeping pace with latest digital technological advancements in the world , this website has been created in the hope that it will become a valuable resource for the students and provide them with the necessary support to pursue the highest standards in academic excellence, while being thoughtful women who move forward with great dignity.

The primary objective of launching this website is to manage student's time effectively during the long school vacations, especially in the phase of COVID-19 pandemic and maintaining virtual contact with parent/guardian and thereby updating them on current status. Thus, the school staff would be able to fulfill their services more efficiently and create value for the stakeholders.

I would like to extend my best wishes to the beloved daughters of Helena Wijayawardene Balika Vidyalaya who are blessed with the best quality education and to thank the board of officers who contributes to the school in achieving such a reputable status.

In addition.I wish to thank all the benefactors, alumnae, parents and well wishers and hope that they would continuously support the school staff who work diligently to elevate the school to a higher level.
